Some of my original music

I started composing music as a kid while living in Saudi Arabia.   I went to high school in Japan where I wrote a fight song for the school band and pieces for our jazz band.

After eight years in Hollywood I went overseas as a music teacher in international schools:  Marrakesh (Morocco), Lima (Peru), Shanghai (China) and now Kobe.   I have many opportunities to write arrangements for band, choir, and orchestra which are played by our school ensembles.   My arrangements have been played at Honor Festivals in Chile and Argentina.

I continue to write original concert band music and won Third Place in the Ticheli International Band Composition Contest.  Manhattan Music has contracted to publish my winning piece 'Game Time'.

I was commissioned to arrange four Japanese folk songs for The Villages Pops Orchestra in Florida, 2017.

Manhattan Beach has published my grade 2 band piece, Game Time. Grand Mesa Music has published two original pieces of mine for young concert band, and CL Barnhouse has published one.
